THE OLDS DIARIES

The title REO came through the initials of his title, but was intended to be an acronym, and so pronounced as being a word. Sometimes it had been spelled as "Reo" to emphasise this pronunciation. Olds served as president (till 1925) and later on chairman of REO. The band REO Speedwagon took its name in the REO Velocity Wagon gentle delivery truck,
